Why long horizons change decisions

An owner planning to sell next year and one planning to own for a decade make opposite choices about maintenance, staff and debt.

How we work

Few holdings, held properly

Concentration means every holding gets real attention. A small number of businesses and properties, understood well, beats a long list nobody has time to look at closely.

The holding period does the rest. When you expect to own something for years, you fix the roof, keep the staff and avoid financing that only works if everything goes right.

And being privately funded keeps it simple. No outside investors means no pressure for a particular exit date, and no securities offering to make, which is why this site has nothing to sell.

Our principles

Three beliefs behind the method

Few positions

Concentration over collection.

Years, not quarters

The horizon shapes every other decision.

No offerings, no advice

Not a fund, not an adviser, nothing to buy here.
